The registration process is not limited to the audit itself. Aerospace suppliers and clients of Certification Body (Registrar) services will benefit from Boeing veteran Brian Simons’ extensive knowledge of the AS9104 certification process requirements, supplier responsibilities and OEM expectations. Mr. Simons will bring his almost two decades of aerospace and quality experience into this discussion to help prepare you to get the most out of your registration process.
“How to get the greatest benefit from
your AS9100 Registration”
- Are you overwhelmed by the complexity of the registration process
(or the prospect of it)?
- Do you know what you should expect of your registrar?
- What happens after the audit is completed?
- What can you do if you are displeased with your registrar’s performance or you disagree with the auditor's report?
Mr. Simons is a 19 year veteran of The Boeing Company. The first half of his Boeing career was as an Industrial Engineer, and the latter as a Field Representative in BCA Global Partners, Supplier Partner Quality (SPQ). As an SPQ Field Representative, Mr. Simons’ assignments have included a three year relocation in South Korea, and the support of a variety of BCA suppliers in the Puget Sound region. In addition to his supplier management responsibilities, Mr. Simons is also a Boeing Oversight Representative (AS9100 Certification/Registration Scheme Oversight), an AS9100 and Auditor Skills course instructor, and the BCA Subject Matter Expert for both AS9102 (Aerospace FAI) and Boeing Product Auditing. Mr. Simons has been certified by RABQSA as an Aerospace Industry Experience Auditor since July 2003.
