industry and offering these in conjunction with attendance at the
AAQG general session. An in depth discussion on the impact of
the AS9100 and AS9101 changes will be held the morning of September
9th, prior to the start of the AAQG Meeting.

Upcoming PNAA Breakfast Meeting -
"A systems approach to
obtaining FAA ODA
and what the FAA changes
mean to you"
FAA
Order 8100-15 and 14 CFR Part 183 Subpart D addresses the formation
of ODA organizations. This new FAA delegation - Organizational Delegated Authority –
puts more responsibility on the Organization (company) than in the
past (when the FAA took more hands on involvement).
If your company does not require ODA but you work with companies that
do, you will be impacted by these new regulations. Complying
with the FAA Order is complex with many technical and business
decision variables which can impact your company’s future
business.
On Tuesday, September 16th (7:30-9:30 a.m.) at Bellevue Community
College (North Campus), Tectura's Ken
Smith will review the specifics of the ODA Order and discuss methods
to effectively comply with these regulatory requirements in an
efficient and cost effective manner.

Vector Industries announces its new heat treat oven
- approved and certified
In
an effort to better support the Puget Sound Aluminum Heat Treat
requirements for large parts, Vector Industries has expanded their
Heat Treat capacity by purchasing a new state of the art Solution

for Aluminum parts. Vector has been processing Aluminum Heat
Treat since 1998 and this upgrade takes them from their previous
capacity of 3’ X 3’ X 3’ to 4’ X 5' X
12’. The new furnace has been installed, calibrated
and certified, and had its first production run on February 4th,
2008.
Vector
Industries looks forward to supporting your aluminum heat treat
requirements. Click
