In response to the U.S. Government's recent decision to award the aerial tanker contract to Northrop Grumman/EADS instead of Boeing, the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance would like to know how many Northwest Aerospace companies have been or will be affected by the decision.
Please take a moment to tell us if and how you expect the decision will impact your company. Your comments will remain anonymous and not be linked with your firm.

With the upcoming AAQG (Americas Aerospace Quality Group) meeting approaching this month, participants seized the opportunity to not only hear about the changes, but to contribute their input and concerns for Mr. Daniels to bring to the meeting that will be held in San Antonio next week.
The proposed changes to the standard will be further discussed at next week’s AAQG meeting (which will be attended by Mr. Daniels and PNAA Board Member John Graham of Fulcrum Associates). Although these changes are fairly firm, the accompanying documentation is still open to modifications based on discussion generated during this year’s meeting. Breakfast meeting participants appreciated the chance to influence this important process, and we are very grateful to Mr. Daniels for generously offering this opportunity.

This year’s conference is now behind us, and we are pleased to report our record attendance of 182 registrants! These folks represented
over 78 firms, 25 exhibitors, and guests from the greater
Pacific Northwest,
Bruce Beckett from Governor Gregoire’s office was introduced to the Northwest aerospace community, both Boeing and Airbus gave updates on their respective programs, Teal Group’s Richard Aboulafia gave his much anticipated forecast, and businesses large and small interfaced and networked as new mutually beneficial opportunities were created.
Thank you to those who participated—and for those who missed it this time, we hope to see you there next year!
