Now that the special legislative sessions have wrapped up for 2013, join your colleagues to learn about our Legislature’s progress with issues that are important to the Northwest’s leading industry. During the two-and-a-half hour luncheons, speakers will detail what the legislature has done to ensure that the Pacific Northwest remains the best place in the world to design and manufacture aircraft.  Learn what’s being done to grow and improve aerospace jobs and the Washington aerospace business climate, and what the Legislature accomplished in 2013.

In addition, Legislators from the House and the Senate will tell attendees what to expect during the 2014 session.  The luncheons will provide attendees an opportunity to meet legislators and to ask questions and make recommendations for the 2014 legislative session.

Why you should attend
This two-and-a-half hour luncheon will allow you the unique opportunity to speak with your legislators.  Let them know what is important to your company and the Washington aerospace industry.  Find out how your legislators are addressing issues like:
•    Skilled labor shortages and workforce training
•    Regulations that improve the aerospace business climate in Washington
•    What didn’t get done for aerospace in this session

This is your chance to have a conversation with key Legislators to let them know directly your concerns and challenges.  You’ll be able to chat with them before lunch.  Then Legislators will be at some of the lunch tables for continued conversation.  And finally, there will be the informal “living room” style of conversation for everyone.  This is unlike any other conference addressing legislative issues and your requirements to be successful in Washington State.
