Partner in Charge

Curtis is the Partner in Charge of Moss Adams’ Contract Compliance & Control Solutions Practice. He has practiced accounting in private industry, government, and public accounting for more than 30 years and specializes in federal and state program controls and audits. Curtis brings his many years as a Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) auditor to help address the needs of his clients.

Curtis formerly directed internal audit services for PricewaterhouseCoopers and managed global business process and technology improvement projects for Intel Corporation. He has experience preparing submissions as well as negotiating federal contracts for a large aerospace and defense contractor. Curtis has helped companies implement federal contracting compliance programs and successfully respond to—and address—DCAA audits.  He helps federal contractors comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), State Department Requirements, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).

He has deep experience in a wide variety of areas including accounting, information technology, planning, facilities construction, government compliance, and human resources.  His industry expertise is in aerospace, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.

Jeff WittAbout Our Speaker: Jeff Witt, Moss Adams LLP

Senior Manager

Jeff Witt is a Senior Manager in Moss Adams’ Contract Compliance and Controls Solutions practice. He brings over 25 years of relevant experience. Prior to his current employment with Moss Adams, Jeff was a Controller for a government contractor for two years where he led the implementation and control of compliant systems for government contracting. Jeff also served as a government auditor for the Defense Contract Audit Agency for 10 years.

During his time with DCAA, Jeff was stationed at a variety of defense, high tech and university contractors, including Lockheed Martin, Boeing, LSI Logic, SRI International and Stanford University. Jeff served as Lead DCAA Auditor on a variety of engagements including incurred cost, forward pricing, defective pricing, equitable adjustment and delay claim audits.
