About Jason

Jason has worked for Collins Aerospace and its previous heritage companies for over 24 years, all starting with a summer internship with Sundstrand Aerospace.  17 of those years have been “in the field” – 15 years in Seattle and two in Southern France.  Various roles include stints in systems engineering, service engineering, Airline and OEM field service, onsite program management, and business development.  Jason’s current function is within Collins’ Power & Controls business unit, which provides Electric Power Systems, Environmental and Airframe Control Systems, and Engine Control Systems. Jason is the Director of Boeing Strategy, positioning his company to win new business with Boeing and leading the field service engineering teams onsite in Boeing Seattle and Charleston.

Jason holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota State University and an MS in Financial Planning from Bentley University.

Jason has been fortunate to have been able to travel to numerous countries, appreciating the many different cultures and cuisine wherever he has gone.  Leading and empowering the talented, energetic, and diverse teams of engineers is among his most rewarding career experiences.

In the workforce Jason is a humble leader, exhibiting a passion for being the voice of the customer and sharing the real-world perspectives of how commercial airplanes are designed, built, and utilized.  Jason actively mentors other employees, especially women in aerospace who can benefit from additional encouragement to find their voice or path.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys traveling, boating trips with his family, recreational running, and doing various home and vehicle projects.
