Mr. Steck has been based in Seattle since 1997 for STELIA North America and STELIA Aerospace. He is responsible for sales and marketing of aerostructures and pilot seats in North America and at Boeing for the STELIA group of companies. His sales initiatives have generated significant revenue for STELIA North America’s and include projects for Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Spirit AeroSystems, United Technology Aerospace Systems, Honeywell and others. He has extensive experience in aerospace composites, testing, program management, sales, marketing, pricing, and negotiations.
Prior to his employment at STELIA, Mr. Steck held the following aerospace industry positions:
- Program Manager in the Trident II and Small ICBM Program Offices and Project Engineer in the Experimental Mechanics Composites group Hercules Inc. (now Northrop Grumman), Magna UT.
- Regional Sales Manager, Hexcel Structures and NORDAM, inc. in Kent, WA
Mr. Steck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, UT.
Mr. Steck is a former chapter President of SAMPE in Seattle, former Chairman and current Board member of the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA), a member of ASCE, and an active church volunteer and Boy Scout Leader. Kevin and his wife, Joani, stay busy with their family which includes five married daughters and nine grandchildren. Kevin speaks fluent Italian, is learning French, enjoys carpentry and woodworking, and participates in a variety of indoor and outdoor sports.
